This notice covers roskoshmedia.co.uk and every directory site that names Roskosh Media in its footer.
Visitors
Our sites are static pages. They set no cookies of their own and carry no advertising trackers. We count page views with cookieless analytics that record the page, the referrer and the country, and nothing that identifies you. Links to Google Maps and to businesses' own websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.
Businesses we list
We publish business details taken from public sources: the business's own website, social media pages, Google profile and established directories. For a limited company that is company information. For a sole trader it can be personal data, and we process it under the lawful basis of legitimate interests: running an accurate local directory that helps customers find services and helps businesses be found.
When we list a business we email it within a month to say so, with a link to the listing. Any business can have its listing corrected or removed by emailing the address on the site. Removals are done within seven days.
What we hold: name, business address or coverage area, phone, website, services, published prices, opening hours, and rating figures as shown on public review sites with a link to the source. We do not hold home addresses of sole traders unless the business publishes its home as its trading address.
Advertisers
If you buy a paid listing, Stripe processes your payment and holds your card details under its own policy. We keep your name, email, business name and invoice history for as long as the listing is live and for six years afterwards for tax records.
If you email us we keep the message for as long as needed to deal with it, and for the life of the related listing if it concerns one.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to the processing. Email [email protected]. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
